Last post until China..........

This will be our last post until we are in China. We leave early, early Friday morning. Tomorrow will be a busy day of last-minute grocery shopping, packing, and housecleaning. It will also be our last day together as a family for two weeks. It's going to be hard saying goodnight to the kids when they go to bed tomorrow night. I've never been away from them for this long and I know that it's going to be very difficult. I know, though, that they will have a great time here with their grandparents, aunts and uncles, and cousins. They are in very good hands and I know that they will be fine. The boys told me that since tomorrow was our last day before we leave, that they were going to be on their best behaviour and make tomorrow the "un-hardest" day for me that they can.

We are so excited to start our adventure!

Hi Angela
You will be in our prayers as you venture out on your journey to Rachel.

The time will fly by while in China and before you know it you will be back home, or thats how it felt for us.

I also had never left Kayli for more then a night so I was having a very hard time dealing with leaving her for 2 weeks. It ended up working out great in the end.

Good luck and have a safe journey and I cannot wait to see pictures of you and Jamie with Dear Rachel!!!!

I'm so excited for you! We'll be following your travels!
Take lots of pictures, and when you think you've taken too many, take more!!
Buy lots, and when you think you've bought too much, buy more!!!
Safe travels!!

Hi Angela, I am Wanda's Aliant friend who you emailed last year about this process.... I am just in tears reading your updates and appreciate going through it with you! We have one meeting left in our Home Study process and hope to have our information sent to Children's bridge in April.

Congratulations on your new daughter, she is just precious.
