Visit with Santa

Rachel wasn't thrilled about sitting on Santa's lap again this year. She liked waving at him from a distance much better. This was our first year without Harrison in the picture, since he has decided that he's too old now.

Lovely girls

My sister and I feel so blessed to each have two beautiful girls. We also think it's wonderful that they are so close in age and will grow up sharing so many wonderful times together.
This afternoon we had a "Nutcracker Tea Party" at my sister's house. We invited a few of our girls' friends and they all dressed up for tea. They decorated cookies, listened to the story of the Nutcracker, decorated their own nutcracker, and had their nails painted. We had a lovely and totally girly time!

Snow day

We had a huge snowfall on Monday night, and school was cancelled on Tuesday. The kids had fun playing in the snow and having hot chocolate afterwards, and it was a perfect day to put up the tree!

Julia's dance class

Julia finished her first session of "Creative Movement" dance class. She loved it and can't wait to go back.

Get ready for lots of pictures!

I've been quite lax about posting lately, and there's lots to catch up on. Let's begin!
