Crockpot steel cut oats

I decided to start posting links to recipes when I find some that we particularly enjoy. This morning we had apple oatmeal in the slow cooker. The kids and I really enjoyed it (and they are not always fond of oatmeal). It would be even better on a cold winter morning, but it was so nice to wake up to the smell of warm apples, cinnamon and oats this morning.

Crockpot liners are the best! Not sure if they are available in Canada or not. They are just like the oven bags that you can buy to cook a turkey or roast in, but they are made to fit a crockpot. No clean up!

It's 11pm, and the crockpot is on and the oatmeal is cooking, although I did forget to grease the pot..hopefully that won't be a problem!

I'll let you know how mine turns out!
