How do these Mondays roll around so fast? It's amazing! I am loving menu planning, by the way. It's working out great, and I feel much more peaceful/ less stressed not having to wonder what I'm going to make for supper each night.

Monday - Beef stroganoff, egg noodles, peas

Tuesday - Chicken enchiladas, tossed salad with ranch dressing

Wednesday - Easy Chicken Parmesan, rotini, salad

Thursday - Prime rib with horseradish cream sauce, baked potatoes, green beans

Friday - Breakfast for supper - blueberry pancakes, bacon, scrambled eggs

Saturday - Garlic Top Sirloin Pot Roast in the slow cooker

Sunday - Mulligitawny soup (Family Fun magazine this month), Seven-grain bread

Some other recipes for the week: Crockpot steel-cut oats, Playgroup granola bars (for the kids' lunchboxes), Chocolate Chip Banana Muffins ( after-school snack and lunchboxes)

Hi Angela!
When do you choose your menu and from where? Do you go through mags or off the computer! I am trying to do menu planning too, but see to get caught up with the same recipes over and over again! and I don't have a huge amount of time to search the internet for sites.
We should get together some morning the kids are at preschool and go through recipes!
Also I did the steel cut oats again, but this time they didn't work out. what kind of oats do you use? That is a fantastic recipe!!

Hi Krista,
I get the recipes from all over - allrecipes, links from other blogs, my cookbooks, magazines, etc. Apparently I do have a huge amount of time LOL. We should do a recipe swap some morning, that's a good idea!
For the oatmeal, I use President's Choice "Old-Fashioned Steel-cut Oats". Comes in a blue canister, near the regular oatmeal.
