FFFF - Gotcha Clothes
This week's photo challenge at Double Happiness is "Gotcha Clothes". I just posted these pics last month when we celebrated Rachel's Gotcha Day, but here they are again. When we first met Rachel this outfit was big, with the cuffs rolled up, but now a year later it fits her perfectly!

I need help
I think my mothering instinct is running rampant. As if there are not enough creatures that need looking after in this house, the boys have these irritating little Tamagotchi toys. They beep when they need to eat, have their poo cleaned up, or are feeling neglected. When the boys go to school the Tamagotchis beep at me, and I am helpless to resist their calls. I feed them (carefully choosing the healthiest foods), clean up after them, give them medicine when they are sick, and play games with them so I can see their little heart meters show that they are happy. Then the stupid things have the nerve to die on me, and I feel like a total failure. I think I need to get out more.

Toddler art - FFFF
We spent the afternoon outside today, and although she spent most of her time running, climbing, jumping, and skipping, Rachel took a few moments to display some of her artistic talent on our driveway. To see more toddler art go to Double Happiness for this week's photo challenge.

Pets
This week's FFFF is pets. We have plenty of those in this house: our cat, Willow, our dog, Cosmo, our hamster, Alex, and a couple of fish. Willow is our first baby and is now 16 years old. She is amazingly patient with the kids. Here's Julia holding Willow, and Harrison holding Alex, with Rachel reaching up. Then there's the girls in their jammies, just cause they look so cute.

Hoang Son Pham
A few weeks ago our agency, Children's Bridge, sent out their weekly newsletter and included the story of Hoang Son Pham. When I read about this young boy's situation my heart was so touched. Maybe because he is close to Harrison's age, maybe because his suffering is so great, I felt compelled to do something. I'm including a link to his story here in the hopes that someone may feel moved to help.

FFFF - Easter Bunny
Donna at Double Happiness has a photo challenge this week for Easter Bunny pics, so here is ours. Rachel liked the Easter Bunny only slightly more than she liked Santa, so this is what we got.

Fun playdate!
A few days ago Rachel and I went to a lovely playdate with five other sweet little girls from China and their moms. I didn't think to bring my camera, but luckily Alyana's mom Andrea did. Go to Ladybug Journals to see pictures of our fun morning. Hit the "Click to play" button to see them. Thanks Krista for hosting us all!
